Call For Abstracts Now Open

The Call for Abstracts for the 2015 Nevada Cancer Control Summit Poster Session is now open, with abstracts due Aug. 28 for the Sept. 17-18 summit dates.

The poster session, moved this year to coincide with a networking reception Thursday, Sept. 17, is an opportunity to showcase projects and programs including evidence-based cancer prevention and screening initiatives, innovative cancer research and use of data, and advances in treatment of patients with cancer. Posters are submitted by students, researchers, coalitions, and clinical organizations highlighting a variety of topics across the cancer continuum. Summit and reception attendees will judge the poster presentations in various categories, and awards will be presented during day 2 the Summit.
