In Nevada there are an estimated 120,200 people who have had a cancer diagnosis at some point. Whether you are one of those recently diagnosed, a survivor, or caregiver, this site and this community are for you. ThriveNV was developed to create support, enhance quality of life, and provide access to needed resources.
A review of 29 patient navigation studies showed that patient navigation reduced the time to diagnosis and treatment, improved treatment adherence, improved patient quality of life, and improved patient knowledge regarding their cancer and helped improve their communication with their healthcare team.
